Europe is especially useful for learning through neighbouring relationships. The Iberian Peninsula, Scandinavian Peninsula and Italian Peninsula provide memorable starting shapes. From those anchors, move toward the Baltic region, central Europe and the Balkans. Coastlines can narrow your choices, but landlocked countries require attention to the countries around them. This map of Europe follows the dataset’s Europe classification for UN member states and includes Vatican City. Russia is included in this set; Turkey and Cyprus are assigned to the Asia round. Kosovo is not a separate answer under the site’s UN-based scope. These choices define a consistent practice set rather than a claim that only one regional convention is possible. Small states may need a marker or extra zoom. To improve a Europe geography quiz score, compare two places you confuse and describe one difference between them: a border, a coastline or a north-south relationship. Repeat that comparison before trying another full round. Learning countries in connected groups makes the blank map less intimidating than memorising an alphabetical list alone.
