Accessibility

Playing with a keyboard

Quiz choices and primary controls use native buttons, inputs and selectors. Move through controls with Tab and activate buttons with Enter or Space. Visible focus indicators help show your position. Map outlines support keyboard activation, and click mode also offers a named answer list.

Reading and small screens

Layouts adapt to narrow screens, text uses scalable sizes and controls aim for comfortable tap targets. Knowledge feedback includes text rather than relying only on colour. Progress and elapsed time have text labels, and result sharing remains optional.

Map and image limitations

A map is a visual activity and complex geographic outlines can be difficult to interpret with assistive technology alone. The answer list provides another selection path, while the included-location list supports study. Flag identification necessarily depends on images; a descriptive answer label would reveal the answer, so this challenge may not provide an equivalent nonvisual experience.

Feedback and improvements

We do not claim a formal accessibility certification. If a control, contrast choice or interaction prevents you from playing, email [email protected] with the page URL, device, browser and assistive technology if relevant. Please describe the task you were trying to complete.
