Work through mixed arithmetic, fractions, percentages and elementary algebra. The questions are short enough for mental practice but reward careful reading of the operation and the units. A useful practice round connects each answer with a reason, not just a familiar-looking option.
Equal denominators let you add numerators: 3/4 + 1/4 = 4/4 = 1. 15% of 200 is 0.15 × 200 = 30. Subtract 7 from both sides to obtain x = 12. Squaring means multiplying a number by itself: 6 × 6 = 36. Rectangle area is length times width: 8 × 3 = 24. One half has decimal representation 0.5. Since 6 × 7 = 42, 42 ÷ 6 = 7. The sum is 15 and there are three numbers, giving a mean of 5. Evaluate the parentheses first: 3 × 6 = 18. The angles sum to 180°, so the remaining angle is 70°.
When an answer surprises you, pause and explain the difference between the correct choice and your first guess. A replay changes the order of the choices, so remembering an option’s position is less useful than understanding the idea. Keep a short list of unfamiliar concepts and explore them with a reliable topic reference. The result is a score for this small question set, not a comprehensive assessment of your knowledge or a formal qualification.

Frequently asked questions
Should I use a calculator for these math questions?
You can choose, but the set is designed for short introductory arithmetic and algebra practice.
Why do parentheses matter in arithmetic?
They specify an operation to evaluate before the surrounding multiplication or other operations.
Are area and perimeter interchangeable?
No. Area measures a surface in square units, while perimeter measures boundary length.
Does a math score determine school placement?
No. It reflects only this short question set and is not a placement examination.
How can I learn from an arithmetic error?
Read the worked reason, identify the operation you missed and solve the problem again before replaying.
